• There is a huge backlog of untrained teachers in the system and the essential requirement of teacher training certification for appointment as a teacher in private & international schools is leading to a huge demand for trained teachers.
• Educational Institutions are defined not only by their infrastructure but more so the quality of teachers working for them. With parents’ awareness on the rise, comprehensive in-house teacher training programs are the need of the hour.

Early Childhood Montessori Teaching Course

The Early Childhood Montessori Teaching Course equips teachers with the skills needed to deal with the complexities and challenges within a Montessori Center. Children between 3 and 6 years of age form part of the Primary environment.

Another major area this training focuses on is making an individual capable of identifying sensitive periods of development in a child and using scientifically proven techniques to develop the fullness within a child.

IDA offers authentic Montessori learning experiences for children in the age group of 1.5 years to 6 years of age as full time based Our courses primarily cater to Early Childhood pedagogy curriculum. Our curriculum is based on the latest research and development in Montessori Teaching practices.

The i Discover Academy has been in operation since 2014 and has three campuses in Bangalore.

As a part of i Discover, IDA Electronic city has trained and placed over 20 Montessori adults in Bangalore and abroad. The successful completion of the course takes 10 to 12 months upon, students will be awarded with a certificate that will enable them to practice as Montessori educators across the globe.

Our International Montessori Certification course aims to develop in students a high level of professional competence as teachers of the Montessori Method to children from 1.5 to 6 years of age.

We aim to provide students with:

• A strong foundation in the Montessori principle and philosophy.
• Basic understanding of child psychology
• Appreciation and understanding of the teaching aids developed by Dr.Montessori.
• Knowledge of the Montessori environment.
• Knowledge of the Montessori curriculum.
• Regular Course (Classes 5 days a week for a duration of 10 - 12 months)

Parent Workshops

IDA conducts workshops for parents in order to create awareness about the Montessori Method and its key principles. Armed with this information parents will be able to create ideal environments that will support child development at home as well.

In addition, IDA also provides its students with the following value-added services that help to enhance performance and training.

• Workshops on story-telling, special needs, learning to observe and assess, crucial presentation skills for interviews, techniques of feedback etc.
• One on One career counselling and placement services.
